First casualty (that I have seen) of the cyclone

These birds normally hang out at the tip. The cyclone must have brought more food for them here. Or something.

RAIN!!

Neighbours' disaster-in-waiting - before the storm

After the storm - he's got one helluva leak now...

The damn myna birds aren't even driven away by a cyclone!

Those mynas are too damn robust. And have you ever seen them fight amongst themselves? Not noice.

I feel sorry for your neighbor - talk about bad timing...

Hope you are still fine and that you can get some reading done. Don't know how you could concentrate though.

Val- Don't feel too sorry for the neighbour. He was supposed to have that roof fixed during the last dry season. He's had the tarp up for more than 18 months now. I'm just surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Tanya...I caught up on reading your posts since I've been away for the weekend, and my you have had some excitement haven't you with hurricane Larry? Cat 4 is pretty dangerous and I hope that everything is ok with you and that your home didn't sustain any damage. Keep safe and like they say, keep away from any downed power lines!

Tanya,
everything ok with you and home etc? It didn't sound like you were affected from reading your posts, but it all looks so terrible on the tv news.
