You know what sucks...?

Hearing a couple of rainbow lorikeets chattering in a eucalyptus tree above you. And the joy of being in the right place at the right time, and even having a camera in your hand. And tilting your head back so you can try to identify just where the birds are before you take the photograph that will change the world. AND THEN HAVING ONE OF THOSE NOISY LITTLE BASTARDS TAKE A CRAP THAT LANDS ON YOUR FACE!

They are beautiful but nasty. Somewhere, I read once that having that happen to you is supposed to be GOOD LUCK. Only time will tell, right?

Oh My! LOL

Okay I'm holding back my laughter while I type this.

That sucks!

The bird are beautiful though...

I have pigeons and ocean pigeons (aka sea gulls) where I live, nothing quite so beautiful.

You're such a sweet girl Tanya :) (there's a tiny bit of fond sarcasm in my voice). Hey, when ya gotta go, ya gotta go....
Not a good position to be in, but did you get the photo????
Wish I could see and hear those lovely birds.
I counted 5 downy woodpeckers in our front maple today and one hairy (bigger). He wouldn't stay still on the suet long enough for me to photograph him...too shy. What a wimp. The little guys weren't at all scared of me.

They are pretty birds. Are they a cross between a lovebird and a parakeet? Sorry they pooped on you.

Those sweet little lorikeets wouldn't do a thing like that...would they?
They sure are beautiful...we don't have birds that are THAT colorful here. You must live in Paradise.
