A change

You will have no idea how long it has taken me to change that banner (it's 1:15am - does that give you a clue?). And now that I have changed it, I don't think it's quite big enough. But me and my computer literacy as it is, it will have to stay that way for a while. Sigh. But I like that it's a little more personalised now. After all, this shows where I live...

Darling, I thought you lived in a house but now I know that you live in two palm trees.

Is one of them your regular home and the other one your holiday house?

I love your new banner, Tanya. The time and effort (YOUR time and effort!) were well worth it. Weren't you trying to get a new color too, or am I thinking of someone else's blog? Purple is nice, and it fits your blog. Don't change it!

Michelle: I change the background colour possibly the most long-winded, inefficient way ever. I googled HTML colours so I could get the right six digit code (try http://html-color-codes.com/). Then I just pasted the code of the colour I wanted in the template. I've personalised the background, text, and links as well. You can go to anyone's webpage, right click anywhere and go to "view source." That has the HTML instructions for the whole page (that's partly how I changed the banner - I copied the instructions on your page). Good luck.

Well you sure know a lot more than I do where Blogger is concerned!! You make it sound so easy changing this and that but I'd probably manage to mess it all up! lol I'll check out the link though for the colour changes...thanks:-)

Interesting info...thank you! I wish I'd seen the green background. I do like the purple though...it suits your blog...and you!
Nice job with the banner. Isn't it amazing how long some things that look simple can take???? Yesterday I played with photostitch on my camera. What fun! I fiddled away a lot of time though, when I should've been doing something more productive. Oh well, learning something new is productive, isn't it? :)
