More from the orchid show
These ones were for sale. I was too scared to buy any for fear that my usual orchid mistreatment would finally result in orchid death. So I was just content to look and take pics. And wait to win the raffle of a basket full of orchids. Which I clearly didn't win, otherwise that would be in this pile of photos too...

My favourite is the yellow/orange one followed by the all pink one below it. Shame you didn't win the raffle. You should have bought an orchid. I'm told they're not that difficult to grow if you have the right conditions, and you do. Of course, it may have become an obsession and then when would you have time to blog and patchwork?
Those are beautiful pictures.
There are some orchids I have never seen before there.
I too just look and don't buy like you said 'orchid death'. I do have some very real looking fake ones though that people are always commenting on.
They are all beautiful.
The orchids are beautiful and what do you mean that if you purchased an orchid that "the usual orchid mistreatment would finally result in orchid death?" I saw your beautiful orchid and, clearly it was not dead. You should have treated yourself to one!
I was going to pick one out for you, but I couldn't make up my mind which was the prettiest.
They are amazing..each one more beautiful than the last. I'm sure someone here in WI grows orchids, but it can't be me...I can't keep african violets alive, much less an orchid. Thanks for the great pics of them tho..love that salmony orange one!
I'm with you. I would love to have an orchid, but alas, the brown thumb of death would surely kill it.
Beautiful pictures, though!
Truly magnificent things, orchids. Your pictures are gorgeous! Wish I could've come with you. What a nice way to spend the day, amongst all that beauty.
