starfish invasion sand Mmmm - the clear waters of Cleveland Bay Balls of sand produced by the crabs on the beach Baskets to catch the coconuts Afternoon at Balgal Beach
These pictures are fabulous and I have NEVER seen so many starfish in one place...well, I have never even seen a real starfish at the ocean either. But I have never seen a picture with so many starfish.
Blogger is a problem today so since the comment area came up I'm going to tell you that your Thursday Thirteen is great. And you are right...the lows aren't really that low.
The two weeks really flew by and they always do when you are really enjoying yourself. I can't wait to see more of your pictures.
I also never saw sand balls before...I guess I don't spend enough time at the ocean...I'm going to have to tell my husband that, and maybe he'll take me more often. (smile)
I have to be honest, Sandy. There WERE starfish everywhere, but we moved them all close together so I could get them all in the frame. I had to take the picture quickly because, as you can see, they started burying themselves or moving out of shot as soon as we put them down. I took a video of one and they move surprisingly fast.
