
And this is the hedge out the front of the house (see previous post). The birds nest is up the top. Yes, it looks ridiculous, but what could I do? I didn't want to knock it down because that would be a few less native birds - and the Indian mynas are doing an excellent job of decimating the native bird population without my support.

I love a good hedge regardless of the bird life. Just a little snip,snip and it would shape up beautifully. I probably missed the point of your post but Your hedge is beautiful.
That's a very pretty colored bloom on your bush. So, what if you left that high spot on your bush...it was for a very good reason.

And... that's a beautiful bush - and if I were the birds I'd be happy to live there too! I would leave them be also!
