Did you see any Aligators? Are they meaner the Crocs?
Wendy - we don't actually have alligators in Oz. We went on an alligator 'hunt' one night in Florida in 1993. The guy who took us out through the swamps in one of those flat-bottomed boats had a spotlight and you could see all the alligator eyes shining in the light. He would step out of the boat into the shallow water and pick up the alligators, bring them back into the boat and turn them over on their back. Apparently, it 'disengages' their brain and they become limp and docile - we even held them ourselves. However, the guy said that he had no fear of alligators but he wouldn't go within a mile of a croc.
Oh dear, now I've frightened you off Queensland again.
